While Teaching Art, as our art teacher gets ready to give birth. (ew)

Me: (To a line of children)  And if you want to do art today, you need to be quiet.
1st Grade Girl: (Raising hand emphatically) um!
Me:  You will also need to follow directions.
1st Grade Girl: Um!!! (Waving hand in front of my face)
Me: Show me you are ready by having your hands at your sides and having all eyes on me.
1st Grade Girl: Um!!!!!
Me: Yes?
1st Grade Girl: You look beautiful!
